LULAC ACCD Parent Child Scholarship Requirements Enroll in the Fall 2008 Semester at any ACCD college complete a certificate, associates degree, or transfer to a four year university within specific time requirements. Complete the application for Federal Students Aid (FAFSA) and on file at the ACCD college you will attend. Complete Program Application by the deadline and a personal interview with the scholarship committee. Qualifications A parent of one child, six years of age or younger. Having completed a high school parenting program, or four hours of parenting at a community site. Sponsors/Requirements/Qualifications/Benefits: For a program application please contact the Parent/Child Scholarship Program, a partnership between the ACCD Foundation, the San Antonio College Women's Center, and the LULAC Council #2. The program ensures two generations of college education. The parent commits to complete an educational goal, and once attained, the child receives a full scholarship to attend any ACCD college upon high school graduation.
