Dr. Tracy Walters-Badillo, DMD, is a compassionate and accomplished dentist, as well as the proud owner of La Tooth Doc, an entrepreneur, and a community advocate who is honored to serve as La Reina Linda. Guided by her motto, Per Fidem et Scientiam, meaning Through Faith and Knowledge, she brings to her reign a spirit of service, purpose, and a deep commitment to uplifting others through education and meaningful community service.

Although Dr. Walters-Badillo was born and raised in a small Kentucky town, she came to Texas as soon as she could. She originally planned to be in San Antonio only for her residency, but she quickly fell in love with the city, its culture, and especially her husband, Fernando. What began as a season of training soon became the place where she would build her life, her career, and her calling.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory sciencefrom the University of Kentucky, followed by her dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She then completed her postgraduate residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where part of her training included treating trauma and complex cases at University Hospital. That experience further strengthened her commitment to clinical excellence.

Since making San Antonio her home, Dr. Walters-Badillo has become a trusted leader in dentistry and the founder of La Tooth Doc. From the very beginning, her mission has been to treat patients like family while using the latest technology to support both treatment and education. She has distinguished herself through advanced expertise that extends beyond traditional general dentistry, including surgical care, implant dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, and IV conscious sedation, all delivered in a comfortable and serene environment.

Her dedication to wellness has come full circle through her passion for helping patients and their loved ones understand the oral systemic link and the profound effect oral health has on the whole body. She believes that protecting the mouth strengthens the body, builds confidence, and opens the door to a better quality of life. Her work reflects a deep belief in the power of faith, knowledge, discipline, and compassion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

That mission became even more personal after her husband survived a living donor liver transplant just one year ago. Through that difficult season, her passion for health, healing, and wellness grew even stronger and deeper. When she was asked to serve as La Reina Linda alongside Rey Feo Ronnie Suarez, she was overwhelmed with joy after what had been a very hard three years. To give back to the community in such a meaningful way is both a dream and an extraordinary opportunity.

Dr. Walters-Badillo strives to lift San Antonio through education by opening doors with scholarships and championing oral health. This mission is deeply personal and inspired in part by her husband, Fernando Badillo, a San Antonio native who grew up in an underserved area of the city. That perspective has helped shape her commitment to give back and create lasting change where it is needed most. Through her reign, she hopes to leave a lasting legacy of education, service, and scholarship support for the great city of San Antonio.

She is married to Fernando Badillo, her rock and constant source of support, and is the proud dog mom to her beloved French bulldog, Chispa. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Walters-Badillo enjoys travel, sailing, art, and exploration. She is also an adventurous foodie who is always scoping out the next best restaurant. She brings that same curiosity, warmth, and strength of spirit to her role as La Reina Linda, where she proudly represents leadership, grace, and a life devoted to faith, service, and uplifting others.
