La Reina Linda IX
Natalie Gomez
Natalie Gamez, president and owner of The Gamez Group, has been selected as Rey Feo’s 2023 La Reina Linda IX. She has hopes and dreams that her life can be an inspiration to young women who aspire to be successful student-athletes and future businesswomen.

As a young San Antonian, Natalie Gamez excelled as a dedicated, student-athlete inside the classroom and on the basketball court. She attended St. Anthony Catholic Middle School where she learned of and grew in her faith and values. In high school, Natalie helped lead the girl’s basketball team at Taft High School to two UIL state tournament appearances and graduated from Communication Arts High School where she fostered her public speaking skills. She later attended St. Mary’s University on a full academic and athletic scholarship. While at St. Mary’s, Natalie led the Lady Rattlers to three NCAA regional tournament appearances, was awarded All-American Honorable Mention honors, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Natalie has been inducted into the National Hispanic Sports Hall of Fame and the St. Mary’s University Hall of Fame.
Over the last decade, Natalie has shifted her passions from the court to her professional career. Upon completion of her English degree, she began her insurance career serving the San Antonio community through life insurance. She is now the President of The Gamez Group, a subagency of Texas Medicare Solutions, which is devoted to serving senior citizens of San Antonio. She has continued her commitment to serving others by creating a business that specializes in Medicare health insurance to the underserved areas of the community, specifically the Westside of San Antonio. For the past six years, Natalie has been named “Agent of the Year” for Texas Medicare Solutions and has been one of the top sales agents for several leading insurance carriers.
Natalie is the proud daughter of Joe and Carmen Gamez of The Gamez Law Firm. She attributes much of her success to the support of her family, particularly her mother, Carmen Gamez, who has been a strong Latina role model. Through her work with the Joe A. Gamez Law Firm, Natalie has assisted in raising funds for the athletic program at Lanier high school (her father’s alma mater) and the “Network for Young Artists” which provides music lessons for the children of the San Antonio community. She is also a co-chair of the Joe A. Gamez Law Firm scholarship fund which contributes to scholarships for students within the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD).
When Natalie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her wife Tracey Gamez, their two children Lux (4) and Nix (2), and their two boxer dogs. She also enjoys listening and learning through podcasts, playing on the St. Mary’s University alumni women’s basketball team, and of course, cheering on the San Antonio Spurs!
