Scholorship Awards Luncheon
On Friday, August 1, 2025, the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation, Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation, and Rey Feo Royalty came together at the UIW Sky Room to honor the power of education and opportunity.
Under the inspiring leadership of Rey Feo LXXVI, Fabian Castillo, Sr., and alongside Reina de la Feria de las Flores London Powell and Reina Linda XI Erica LaHood, more than 100 deserving students from San Antonio and surrounding areas were awarded scholarships. Each recipient received a $4,000 scholarship for the Fall 2025–Spring 2026 academic year.
The luncheon celebrated not only the students’ achievements but also the guiding mission of Rey Feo LXXVI—“Blueprints for Success.” This theme reflects the Foundation’s commitment to laying a strong foundation for students to build their futures, empowering them with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to thrive.
With the support of sponsors, including Gamez Law Firm, and the generosity of donors, this event highlighted the impact that education and community investment can have on transforming lives. Guests left inspired, reminded that when we invest in students, we create blueprints that lead to brighter futures for all.
The Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation remains dedicated to ensuring San Antonio’s youth have the opportunity to achieve their dreams and continue building success for generations to come.
About the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation
Established in 1984, the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation continues to support education through community leadership and fundraising efforts. The foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education while upholding the traditions of the Rey Feo, La Reina de la Feria de las Flores, and La Reina Linda programs.
