From Spider-Man to Wonder Woman, the floats showcase meticulously crafted designs that bring these beloved characters to life. Participants don
colorful costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere and delighting spectators of all ages.

Honoring Everyday Heroes
Beyond the fantastical elements, the Super Hero River Parade also honors real-life heroes. The event highlights local heroes such as firefighters, police officers, healthcare workers, and educators, acknowledging their dedication and contributions to the community. Special floats are dedicated to these everyday heroes, providing them with a well-deserved moment in the spotlight.

Family-Friendly Fun
The parade is a family-friendly event, offering activities and entertainment for all ages. Before the parade begins, children can enjoy face painting, superhero-themed crafts, and interactive games. Food stalls and vendors line the River Walk, offering a variety of treats and souvenirs. The festive atmosphere is contagious, with live music and street performers adding to the excitement.

Community Engagement and Support
The Super Hero River Parade also serves as a platform for community engagement and support. Local businesses and organizations participate by sponsoring floats and activities, while volunteers help ensure the event runs smoothly. Additionally, the parade often partners with charities and non-profits, raising awareness and funds for important causes.

Costume Contest Judges

Maddie Mason Bio
“Hey there! I’m Maddie, a dedicated cosplayer and artist who loves stepping into the shoes of my favorite characters. Whether it’s from anime, comics, or video games, I enjoy putting my own spin on each cosplay to make it fun and unique. Join me on my creative adventures as I bring these characters to life with passion and flair!”
HGIII Cosplay Bio
“Hello there! I’m HGIII Cosplay! Growing up as a 90’s kid, my childhood heroes inspired me to dress up as characters I admired, fueling my passion for cosplay over the years. My journey took a significant turn in 2012 when I discovered the vibrant cosplay community at my first conventions, Star Wars Celebration and MegaCon. The experience hooked me instantly! Alongside my love for cosplay, I also found my voice in podcasting, delving into the world of pop culture. Both of these passions have connected me with incredible people who now feel like family.”
E.P. Wolverine Bio
“Adrian Acosta, best known for cosplaying Wolverine, has been cosplaying since 2008 and has working as a guest cosplayer since 2017. He enjoys designing and making costumes and props and “Puting the play in cosplay!” E.P. is a fitness enthusiast and loves to stay fit for his cosplays and change his body to fit the characters he portrays. As someone who has struggled with fitness in the past, he enjoys giving fitness and motivation panels to aid others in their physical and mental health journey. It means the absolute world to him when someone says he is straight out of a book or off of the screen.”
Gigi Ford Bio
“Gigi Ford here! I’ve been cosplaying for 8 years, and it’s been an amazing ride full of incredible friends and memories. I love diving into all kinds of fandoms, bringing characters to life from every platform. I’m thrilled to be part of the Rey Feo River Parade again and can’t wait to be a guest judge for the children’s cosplay contest! It’s going to be so much fun!”
