Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation Press Announcement

San Antonio officially welcomed its next generation of Fiesta royalty during a special press conference hosted by the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation and Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation at Rosario’s Mexican Café y Cantina on May 8, 2026. Community leaders, supporters, media partners, and guests gathered as the organizations proudly introduced the official Royal Court for Fiesta 2027, including the next Rey Feo, Reina de la Feria de las Flores, Reina Linda, and their royal court.

The announcement marked the beginning of a new reign centered on scholarship, leadership, cultural pride, and community service. Since 1947, the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $11 million in scholarships to over 8,000 students across San Antonio, continuing its mission of expanding educational opportunities throughout South Texas.

The event also celebrated a milestone year for the Foundation, which received a record-breaking number of scholarship applications in 2026—highlighting the growing need for educational support within the community. Guests concluded the morning by celebrating the start of the new campaign season and learning more about the Foundation’s upcoming events and initiatives dedicated to funding higher education through tradition and service.
