Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation Expands it’s Royals to Laredo to Join the Martha Washington Society in Providing Scholarships across South Texas

(Saturday, February 21, 2026)- Laredo proudly launches, The Rey Feo Laredo Foundation, a new nonprofit initiative dedicated to serving children and youth in Webb County and surrounding areas through traditional education and skilled trade pathways. This expansion marks a significant milestone in extending the legacy and impact of the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation from San Antonio to South Texas, with a shared mission through opportunity, mentorship, and cultural pride.

Led by the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation of San Antonio, the establishment of the Rey Feo Laredo Foundation represents a strategic and values-driven expansion, bringing proven scholarship programs, leadership development, and community service initiatives to Laredo. The foundation will focus on empowering students by supporting academic achievement, vocational training, and workforce readiness ensuring that young people have multiple pathways to success.

As part of this launch, Laredo will introduce its own royal court beginning in 2027, consisting of Rey Feo, Reina Linda, and La Reina De La Feria De Las Flores, each role carrying deep cultural significance and a commitment to service.

Rey Feo serves as the most successful male led philanthropic ambassador to the city and its values. He is a community leader showcasing qualities in his leadership and service.

Reina Linda represents the most successful female led philanthropic role serving as a “sister” female counterpart to Rey Feo representing female leaders and stewardship for the community.

La Reina De La Feria De Las Flores embodies young woman between the ages of 17-25 dedicated to education. Her role is multifaceted focusing on leadership, community service and cultural representation.

Together, these roles symbolize unity, service, and cultural continuity connecting generations while inspiring civic responsibility.
