Alexandria’s previous volunteer work has included volunteering with Sunday school at her church, Autism advocacy, and performances at local retirement centers and schools. She has a heart for community service, and wants to inspire children to keep pursuing their dreams. Throughout Alexandria’s life as a student, she understands the pressures of being in school and wants to advocate for more student support resources to help kids succeed in school, as well as more education of fine arts to give kids a creative outlet. She believes student support and creative outlets can help students thrive in school. Her message to young students is to never give up, and never be afraid to ask for help.

Alexandria and her mom, Kristin Werthman, were first introduced to fiesta in 2015 and fell in love with the festivities. She was enamored by the fiesta queens, and can’t believe she is becoming one herself, as this is her first time participating in fiesta as one of the official fiesta queens. She is most excited to use her platform as Reina de la Féria de las Flores to promote education and make connections with the students during her school visits to encourage children to stay in school and spread their wings in the world of academia. Alexandria is proud to serve the people and children in her community. Viva Fiesta 2024
